How good can a hot dog be? Well, for a hot dog, it was surprisingly good. This ain't no hot dog in a normal hot dog bun with some toppings like James Coney Island. The bread was almost like buttered toast surrounding a delicious sausage, topped with chili, Fritos, and other yummy items. We also got a side of fries which were pleasantly crispy and hot. We were in a good mood so we got some wings as well and those were better than expected. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. The service was good as the workers are super friendly. The ambiance was rustic and down to earth, nothing fancy. The establishment was clean and there was plenty of seating. The only downside is that parking in that part of town can be tight. Enjoy!

The name is very apt -- it's a good dog. Not a great dog but a good dog. The hot dog itself didn't blow me away and neither did the bun. I did love their very expansive menu -- lots of great options with a variety of toppings. My favorite was the Curryous Frank. Nice combination of textures/flavors. I also tried the Sloppy Slaw dog and wasn't crazy about that one. Nice idea but the slaw wasn't really a slaw -- it had large chunks of apple. There is a patio in the front with a few tables (with an accessibility ramp). We brought our toddler in her stroller. Small parking lot available.

Holy cats this hot dog place serves the best hot dog I've ever had in my life. The Benedict Franklin is my favorite one and it's so flavorful and rich! The kids menu is great too if you have kiddos. Their shakes are also juuuust fantastic. Honestly their menu has a lot of options so I'm excited to come back and try the not a dog options. This is our second time back and the memory of the Benedict Franklin was so good from the first time that I ordered it again. Fresh cut fries too! Do yourself a favor and try it out. It's amazeballs

These are some d*mn good dogs. Make sure you upgrade your dog to the wagyu dog ($2.50 more times, but worth it) and get the onion rings. I came here on a Wednesday night with a small group of friends. During peak hours this could be a difficult place to find seating (there's indoor and outdoor seating), but we were easily able to find a spot to sit. You order at the counter and there's a large selection of dogs and non-dogs if that's not your thing. Also, beer. I got the Chi-Town dog with a wagyu dog and a side salad, as well as the onion rings which my friend ordered for the table (but I ended up eating most of it, LOL). The flavors of the hot dog were great; loved the relish and the peppers on top. The onion rings were "fluffier" and light compared to other onion rings I had--they're really good! And the side salad, because I wanted some veggies, came with a really good dressing (that also welt really well with the onion rings). I'll definitely be back for more dogs! The service was super nice, but if you order a wagyu dog it might take longer for the food to come out. At least that was the case with us. The friends that ordered the default dog got their food much sooner. Parking situation: on-site but limited, but there's neighborhood street parking as well.

Should be called Bad Dog. And when I mean bad, I mean Michael Jackson "Bad". Great variety of hot dog options. Great alternatives if you're with someone and they don't like hot dogs. Pair it with one of their many great options in beer. Great spot for a date or a friend.

Can't even remember the last time I ate a hotdog. Not a hotdog girl but I've been driving by this place all the time so I thought I'd give it a try. We got two rodeo dogs, french fries, and fried mozza balls. we ordered through Uber Eats and picked it up. It was a smooth fast process. But the food was already cold once we came back (we were like 7min away). The hotdog still tasted good though. I liked how the mac n cheese was on it. The hotdog itself is salty. The fries were like in-and-out fries, and salty, not the best... The fried mozza balls, again, were cold so it was alright. Don't think we are gonna order these side dishes again. And the marinara sauce wasn't giving. I wish the hotdog didn't get cold this fast. The inside of the restaurant is ok, outside looks nice at night - cozy. I love their logo and the food truck. A fun concept. Decent amount of parking :)

We are having a staycation in the Heights. This was our first time visiting this place. We found it on Yelp and after viewing all the photos, we thought to give it try. We were very pleased. This is what we chose as our Anniversary lunch. Service: Friendly and efficient Food Fresh and definitely worth returning. Parking; Parking next to the building. Very small and kinda tight.

My friend and I were in the mood for some hot dogs a few weeks ago and this place was nearby. Parking is a bit tight due to location so if you find a spot here, nab it! There's many dog options to choose from. While overwhelming, you can't argue with classics such as the chi-town, sunshine (seattle) dog, or the chillin' dog. I went with the Deli dog (house mustard, provolone, mixed greens, tomatoes, giardiniera) while my friend went with the ol zapata dog (bacon, muenster cheese, caramelised onions, tomatoes, jalapeño relish, ketchup, mayo). We also got an order of onion rings and potato salad. Including a glass of cider and a soda, our total including tip came to $50. Quite pricy for two people so I was hoping the dogs would be worth it. Fortunately the food is tasty, both of our dogs were cooked properly and delicious. The potato salad had good consistency. And we loved the onion rings which were the highlight of our meal. Plus that dipping sauce, oh my! Seating is a bit cramped so arrive with anticipation that you may not get a table if it's packed. The service is friendly with the cooks and waitstaff accommodating requests and drink orders. While it's on the pricier side, it's hard to argue with a good hot dog when you're in the mood for one which Good Dog is happy to do for ya!
